Job Summary

As one of two HR Partners supporting the EMEA region, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert HR support, advice, and interventions to your designated stakeholder groups across EMEA. Acting as a trusted partner to managers and senior leaders, you will proactively identify and address people-related challenges, enhance organisational capabilities, and contribute to a culture of engagement, inclusion, and high performance. In collaboration with the Head of HR for EMEA, you will support key organisational priorities, including talent management, leadership development, and change initiatives. This is a dynamic role requiring strong business acumen, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to adapt to evolving organisational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • HR Partnership
    Provide proactive HR advice and guidance to managers, including senior leaders, to support effective people management and organisational performance.
  • Leadership and Development
    Build management and leadership capability through regular engagement, coaching, and tailored development initiatives.
  • Change and Transformation
    Act as a change agent by driving continuous improvement, supporting organisational transformation, and embedding a culture of agility and resilience.
  • Talent and Succession Planning
    Support the identification, development, and retention of talent through structured succession planning and capability-building initiatives. Reviewing, aligning and embedding reward and compensation structures in line with Group processes and strategies to attract, retain and motivate talent.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making
    Analyse workforce and organisational data to identify trends, predict challenges, and provide actionable insights to inform strategic decisions.
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
    Promote and implement initiatives that foster an inclusive workplace culture, ensuring all employees feel valued and supported.
  • Employee Engagement and Wellbeing
    Partner with stakeholders to design and implement programmes that drive engagement and prioritise employee wellbeing.
  • Policy and Compliance
    Provide guidance on HR policies, employment law, and best practices to ensure compliance and consistency across all people-related activities.
  • HR Projects and Initiatives
    Contribute to HR improvement projects and initiatives, ensuring delivery aligns with business goals and enhances organisational effectiveness.
  • Alignment with Group Principles
    Maintain strong connections with Spirax Group and Watson-Marlow Centres of Excellence (CoE) to adopt Group-wide principles and practices, promoting consistency and standardisation across processes and initiatives.
Skills/Experience
  • Experience of coaching and guiding managers.
  • Hands-on experience using human resources information systems (HRIS) or similar automated software systems.
  • Experience of interpreting HR policies, procedures and situations in order to identify pragmatic solutions/recommendations.
  • Experience of advising and supporting managers on a range of employee relations matters to an appropriate conclusion, including change management.
  • You will champion equity and inclusion, therefore previous experience of promoting inclusive practices is essential.
  • Experience of dealing with matters confidentially and sensitively with a good understanding of data protection regulations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes.
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal tactfully with stakeholders at all levels
  • Problem-solving attitude in a fast-paced environment.
