Psychology Lab Technician - Cognitive & Clinical Neuroscience
Job summary
An educational institution in Greater London is seeking a part-time Psychology Technician to enhance support for teaching and research in Psychology, focusing on Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience. The role involves maintaining laboratories, providing technical support, and ensuring the effective use of specialized equipment. Ideal candidates should possess a degree in Psychology, relevant experience in research settings, and excellent communication skills. This position offers a salary pro-rata of £32,185–£35,066 per annum.
Qualifications
- Experience in supporting psychology laboratories in higher education.
- Strong knowledge of cognitive and clinical neuroscience methods.
- Experience with programming/scripting for experimental design is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality technical support for psychology teaching and research.
- Maintain and develop specialist laboratories and equipment.
- Deliver inductions, training and demonstrations on psychology resources.
