Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist for Reproductive Medicine
Band 7-8a (depending on experience)
Job overview

We have a secondment / fixed term post available for a Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist for Reproductive Medicine and Hysteroscopy/Myosure to join our Gynaecology division within the Rosie Hospital.

You will provide expert clinical skills to a very busy nurse practitioner role supporting the Benign Gynaecology department undertaking outpatient ambulatory diagnostic hysteroscopy/myosure clinics and nurse‑led reproductive medicine consultation clinics including menstrual dysfunction, vaginal dilation and coil clinics.

This is a Monday to Friday role – 37.5 hours a week.

If you do not have the required qualifications to undertake hysteroscopy and myosure, consideration will be given to the applicant to undertake the secondment role focusing on diagnostic hysteroscopy (if already trained) and reproductive medicine consultation clinics as a Band 7.

Main duties of the job

We are searching for an experienced Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist who is able to undertake excellent clinical care, providing nurse‑led reproductive medicine diagnostic and consultation clinics. You will be trained in diagnostic hysteroscopy and myosure in an outpatient ambulatory setting.

The successful candidate should be proficient in skills such as venepuncture & cannulation, drug administration and possess excellent communication and administrative skills. You will be working closely with the Multi‑disciplinary teams to ensure an excellent provision of evidence‑based care across Reproductive Medicine.
