Job summary
A leading financial services firm located in the City of London seeks a knowledgeable financial accountant to oversee staff and manage the production of essential financial accounts. The ideal candidate must hold a CCAB qualification and possess a strong understanding of financial regulations. This role involves liaising with external auditors and improving financial systems, as well as managing VAT compliance. Highly competitive day rate of £700+ for a 6-month contract.
Qualifications
- Experience managing financial accounting functions and teams.
- Strong knowledge of financial controls and regulations.
- Ability to liaise with external auditors.
Responsibilities
- Manage the production of the Council's accounts.
- Lead the financial accounting function.
- Ensure VAT returns are completed.
- Improve core financial systems.
