Job Description
G&H Personnel is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Workers to support vulnerable individuals in their own homes across Walsall and Stoke-on-Trent. The ideal candidate should be reliable, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care while promoting independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and medication prompts.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring.
- Carry out light household duties including cleaning and laundry.
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Complete daily care notes and report any concerns.
- Travel between client homes throughout the day (mileage covered depending on client).
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence OR international driving licence
- Own car is essential
- Previous care experience preferred but not mandatory (training can be provided)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Right to work in the UK
- Ability to work flexible hours (mornings, evenings, weekends)
