This is an exciting opportunity for a band 5 professionally registered clinician within the CAMHS Early Help Pathway. The role supports Children, Young People and families, delivering assessments and short‑term interventions (up to 8 sessions) within the I‑THRIVE model.

• Support the emotional, psychological and social wellbeing of children and young people, promoting early intervention and cultural change in first‑contact services.
• Work with the CAMHS liaison practitioners to assess emerging mental health difficulties and provide targeted interventions and group work.
• Deliver evidence‑based, targeted interventions (1‑to‑1 and group) and apply Routine Outcome Measures (ROMS).
• Provide assessments in a timely manner.
• Represent CAMHS in multi‑agency meetings (EHAT, SEND, child protection, etc.) and coordinate the mental‑health element of multi‑agency plans.
• Participate in training programmes for schools and community services.
• Maintain standards of care, confidentiality and person‑centred planning.
• Engage in clinical governance, quality improvement, audit and policy development.
• Supervise and mentor students, providing assessment and support.
• Work flexibly (including part‑time, job share, remote) and travel across the Livewell footprint as required.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
• Time‑management and meeting deadlines.
• Experience in mental‑health assessment, risk management and multi‑agency working.
• Knowledge of I‑THRIVE model and legislation/policies relating to children’s mental health.
• Post‑registration experience working with children & young people who have mental‑health difficulties.
• Experience of managing own caseload and acting autonomously.

• IT proficiency with relevant programmes.
• Experience supporting students and line‑management of junior staff.
• Post‑graduate training or qualifications in child and adolescent mental‑health.
• Clinical supervisor & assessor training.
• Experience working within children’s mental‑health settings.

• Core degree in Nursing, Social Work, OT or similar with relevant experience.
• Appropriate professional registration (e.g., NMC, HCPC).
