Senior Safeguarding, Welfare & Compliance Lead
Job summary
A prominent sports organization is looking for a Safeguarding, Welfare & Compliance Manager to oversee its safeguarding functions. This role includes leadership of the safeguarding team, managing compliance policies, and ensuring the embodiment of safety standards across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safeguarding, compliance, and risk management, with a commitment to upholding integrity and welfare within the sports community. This position offers a full-time, remote work opportunity with occasional travel to Manchester.
Qualifications
- Experience in safeguarding and compliance within sports or an equivalent field.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation and best practices in safeguarding.
- Proven track record in case management and complex decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and support to the safeguarding and discipline teams.
- Manage compliance policies and ensure they are effectively implemented.
- Act as the organization's Lead Safeguarding Officer.
