We have a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and organised individual to join our growing property and projects team as a Junior Projects Manager/Contracts Manager (Property). Start Your Career as a Junior Projects Manager/Contracts Manager in Property

As a Junior Projects Manager/Contracts Manager (Property), you will support the delivery of key capital and maintenance projects across our retail property portfolio. Working alongside experienced property managers, you will help ensure contracts are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required standards, while maintaining excellent compliance and customer service.

Key Responsibilities in Property Contract Management and Project Delivery
  • Assist with the management of property-related projects, including refurbishments, fit outs, and repairs.
  • Support the contracts management lifecycle, from tendering and appointment of contractors through to completion.
  • Liaise with contractors, suppliers, internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Monitor project progress, compliance, and quality standards, providing updates and resolving issues quickly.
  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate project records, budgets, and documentation.
  • Contribute to property inspections and ensure all health, safety and compliance requirements are met.
  • Help maintain and improve clean, safe, welcoming stores that our colleagues and customers can be proud of.
  • Support other property and facilities tasks as required, learning and developing your skills along the way.
What We’re Hoping to See

We’re looking for proactive individuals who thrive in a busy, friendly team environment. Bring a positive attitude, the ability to adapt, and a genuine desire to learn and contribute to our property projects and contracts management process. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Some experience or strong interest in property, contracts, project management or facilities (any sector).
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, and confidence handling multiple tasks at once.
  • A detail-oriented approach, with commitment to following best practice and safety procedures.
  • Determination, resilience, and a hands-on, solutions-focused mindset.Competence in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn property management software.
  • GCSEs or equivalent as a minimum; further education or relevant qualifications an advantage but not essential.
  • A valid driving licence is desirable as travel to locations may sometimes be required.
