The Role

We’re looking for a talented and motivated Sous Chef to support our Head Chef in delivering exceptional culinary experiences across our restaurant, banqueting, and event operations.

As Sous Chef, you’ll be hands-on in the kitchen, ensuring every dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. You’ll assist with menu development, oversee day-to-day operations, and help lead and inspire a skilled brigade. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious chef looking to progress their career in a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting the Head Chef in managing all kitchen operations across restaurant and events.
  • Supervising and motivating the kitchen team to deliver consistently high standards.
  • Assisting in menu planning and development with creativity and cost control.
  • Overseeing food preparation and service during busy periods.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with food hygiene and health & safety regulations.
  • Monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering, and managing waste.
  • Leading by example to maintain a clean, organised, and professional kitchen.
  • Training and developing junior chefs to enhance team performance.
  • Taking responsibility for kitchen operations in the Head Chef’s absence.
  • Collaborating with front-of-house and events teams to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

You’ll be an experienced chef with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering outstanding food. Calm under pressure and highly organised, you’ll thrive in a busy environment and bring creativity and enthusiasm to the role.
