Job summary

A global leader in motion solutions in Northern Ireland is seeking a Front Line Support Technician to fulfill customer requirements through inspection, repair, and maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, supported by relevant qualifications and previous experience. This role emphasizes independent work with responsibilities including documentation of service tasks and adherence to safety standards. Competitive compensation and overtime opportunities are available.

Qualifications

  • Good standard of education (5 GCSE's Passed including Maths and English).
  • Time served apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred.
  • Previous experience in a similar role required.
  • Experience of manual handling and confined spaces preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for meeting daily service and repair needs of lifting equipment.
  • Document all inspections, maintenance and service repair work.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards.
