Qualifications

About your role

We need Service & Repair engineers to join our team of experienced Gas Engineers, to ensure that our customers get the help they need, when they need it. You will play a pivotal part in British Gas’ Service Promise – same‑day fix for our customers.

Salary

Base Salary is £45,483 with uncapped OTE – £52,400 is a realistic expectation through our fantastic field reward scheme.

Responsibilities

Being there for our customers is our priority. Whether attending an annual service visit or a complex breakdown you’ll represent British Gas in the customer’s home. You will have plenty of support from managers, mentors, and engineer colleagues, but some jobs can be challenging. Experience working across an array of different boilers and central heating systems and manufacturers is essential.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • A natural dedicated focus on providing outstanding customer experience on every visit
  • Current ACS qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1 & HTR1) NVQ, C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating
  • 3 years of qualified experience in fault finding and diagnosis
  • Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S‑plan, Y‑plan and combination systems and boilers
