You will inspect, refurbish, and prepare parts for reuse, ensuring compliance with company standards. To safely dismantle and recover usable components from vehicles identified for scrappage, ensuring all activities are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with company standards. This position plays a key role in supporting the sustainability and efficiency of the Terberg fleet by removing, inspecting, and repurposing parts that can be utilised within live operational vehicles. The role also includes the overhaul, cleaning, and refurbishment of key mechanical and structural components, such as 5th wheels, radiator packs, and associated assemblies, ensuring that recovered parts are returned to service in a fully functional and compliant condition. Contributing to wider workshop operations by performing general mechanical tasks, inspections, repairs, and technical support as reasonably required to meet business needs. This is a hands‑on engineering position requiring strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a methodical approach to dismantling, repair, and inspection tasks.
