Job summary
A defense contracting company is seeking a motivated Cost Analyst to support financial management for the Marine Corps Systems Command. Responsibilities include preparing funding documents, maintaining budget information, and interfacing with program management. Candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree with at least 5 years of experience in DoD financial analysis and must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. This role demands strong analytical and communication skills.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in DoD financial / cost analysis or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Defense Agencies Initiative (DAI).
- Possess DAU Level I certification in business, cost estimating, or financial management preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare government funding documents for Defense appropriations.
- Maintain project baseline budget information and track changes.
- Identify and alert management to significant variances in funding.
