Position: Social Work Team Manager – Family Support Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dedicated Social Work Team Manager to join the Family Support Team in Bradford. This pivotal role offers the chance to lead a committed team in delivering exceptional support services to children and families. • Lead and manage the Family Support Team to deliver high-quality services in line with local authority standards and policies.
• Oversee case management and provide supervision and guidance to ensure effective and efficient handling of cases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the Bradford Children and Families Trust to support joined-up service delivery and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and assess team performance, offering constructive feedback and professional development support.
• Engage with families to assess needs, develop tailored support plans, and promote positive outcomes.
• Champion innovation within the team, implementing best practices and driving service enhancements.

• Qualified Social Worker with current registration (Social Work England).
• Proven experience in managing or supervising a social work team, ideally within family support or children’s services.
• Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive, supportive team environment.
