A leading energy company is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Infrastructure Services team. The role focuses on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and involves leading design and engineering projects within renewable energy solutions. Candidates should have a degree in Electrical Engineering, strong knowledge of power systems and electrical design tools, and excellent communication skills. Location: Home Based with Nationwide Travel
We are recruiting for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join E.ON Infrastructure Services (EIS), this role has a primary focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), while operating as part of a broader portfolio of integrated energy solutions for Industrial and Commercial customers. Working alongside technologies such as solar PV, CHP and advanced energy management solutions, the role is central to designing, validating and delivering BESS‑led projects that maximise customer value and support their transition to Net Zero.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of E.ON’s collaborative, UK‑wide energy projects, bringing together expertise from across infrastructure, energy supply, eMobility, trading and residential businesses. You’ll be part of a joined‑up team that drives innovative, low‑carbon solutions and positions E.ON as a trusted partner for customers on their decarbonisation journey.
