Job summary
A technology solutions provider in Sheffield is offering a Control Systems Engineer role for graduates in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. This position involves programming PLCs and designing SCADA systems, with an emphasis on real-world application and client interaction. Successful candidates will gain hands-on experience through workshops and commissioning activities on-site. This role also offers opportunities for career advancement after completing the apprenticeship program.
Qualifications
- In-house engineering covering PLC programming and SCADA system design.
- Experience with workshop and panel building as well as installation support.
- Skills in customer support and maintaining technical proposals.
Responsibilities
- Write, fault find, test, and commission PLC systems.
- Design and program SCADA systems.
- Undertake electrical design and create wiring schematics.
- Commission systems at client sites.
