Join GEOAmey as a Resource & Vetting Business Partner and lead sustainable business growth in the secure, non‑emergency patient transport and specialist & vulnerable passenger transport sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Growth:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the secure, non‑emergency healthcare and vulnerable passenger transport sectors.
- Lead the tendering and bidding process for new contracts, collaborating with operational, compliance, and finance teams.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with NHS Trusts, Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), Local Authorities, specialist schools, and social care organisations.
- Explore and expand growth opportunities in both public and private sector markets.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging market needs to position the company’s services effectively.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for potential customers and partners.
- Manage the initial customer relationship to ensure high satisfaction, retention, and growth opportunities are realised and hand over the service to operations upon go‑live.
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure service delivery aligns with contractual commitments and customer expectations.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Lead the development and implementation of the company’s growth strategy.
- Provide regular reports and forecasts on sales pipeline, contract performance, and market insights to senior management.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations and finance to align business development activities with broader company goals.
- Compliance & Quality:
- Ensure all business development activities comply with relevant healthcare, safeguarding, and transportation regulations and best practices.
- Champion high‑quality, person‑centred accompanied logistics services that meet the needs of complex and vulnerable passengers.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles, ideally within healthcare transport, social care transport, or public sector services.
- Strong understanding of non‑emergency patient transport operations and safeguarding responsibilities related to vulnerable passengers.
- Demonstrable success in preparing and winning tenders and securing new contracts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and sustain long‑term partnerships with public sector organisations and other key stakeholders.
- Self‑motivated with a proactive and strategic mindset.
- Full UK driving licence (required) and nationwide travel as required.
Required Skills
- Experience working with NHS Trusts, local authorities, or social care providers and quality frameworks.
- Knowledge of key legislation, such as the Care Act, Children Act, and Health & Social Care Act.
- Background in transport logistics, healthcare service provision, or related sectors.
Location & Pay
Manchester or Birmingham – Hybrid – Up to £65,000 per annum.
