Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist
Job summary
A healthcare organization is looking for an Occupational Therapist to support the management of community therapy services. The role involves leading a team, providing person-centered care, and ensuring effective communication with service users and their families. Applicants must hold a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy, be registered with HCPC, and have a valid UK Driving Licence. This is a permanent, full-time position located in various areas throughout Aberdeen.

To support the Occupational Therapy Lead to manage and supervise the operational delivery of a high standard of person‑centred care and support by the Community Occupational Therapy team, ensuring the provision of a comprehensive, intensive service and promoting good outcomes for individuals, their families and carers.
- Professional Qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Registration with HCPC
- PVG (adults & children)
- Current Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to communicate effectively with service users, staff, carers and internal/external professionals to achieve improved outcomes for service users
- Flexible and creative approach to manage human, physical and financial resources effectively
- Ability to lead and motivate a team, providing supervision, guidance and support to team members
- Commitment to providing high quality customer service
- Competence with a range of ICT packages including MS Office
- Ability to chair meetings and case conferences effectively
- Planning and decision‑making skills
