Job Title: Shift Maintenance Engineer (Multiskilled)
Location: Coleford, Forest of Dean
Hours: 12 Hour Shifts, 4 on 4 off (Days/Night Rotation)
Salary: Up to £50k Per Annum + Benefits
HRGO Recruitment is on the hunt for a Shift Maintenance Engineer with a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance for our client based in Coleford. Our client is part of a global firm supplying to a variety of major brands.
We are looking for individuals who are logical and real team players to ensure our client's fast paced production line goes smoothly. We are ideally looking for Electrically biased engineers with strong Mechanical skills or Mechanical biased with Electrical qualifications.
- Carrying out scheduled and reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment in an FMCG factory.
- Diagnosing and fixing faults in machinery to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
- Collaborating with the production team to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Applying your technical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations while maintaining work standards.
- Electrical qualifications (NVQ, HNC, 18th Edition or Equivalent)
- Strong Mechanical Knowledge
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure production environment
- Basic experience with PLC systems such as Allen Bradley or Siemens
- FMCG / Fast Moving Factory Experience
- Injection moulding or plastic experience could be beneficial
- SAP Experience
- Up to £50k Salary + Benefits
