A leading automotive glass repair company in the UK is seeking a Trainer Assessor to deliver training and assessments for technicians. This role requires an NVQ Assessor qualification and relevant industry experience. Then you should join the UK’s largest independent automotive glass repair and replacement specialist as a Trainer Assessor covering Aldershot, Reading, Slough, Crawley, Croydon, Hastings, Brighton and Westfield.
- You will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessing of technicians working towards NVQ's, with a focus on technical proficiency, customer service and compliance with industry standards.
- Operating within the specified region the role with close collaborations with the Regional Director, Branch Managers, and other stakeholders to tailor training to local needs and drive continuous improvement.
- Staying current with windscreen technology, conducting assessments, giving feedback and maintaining accurate training records.
Our ideal candidate will:
- Hold a recognised NVQ Assessor qualification (e.g., Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement) and / or recognised training qualification
- Have relevant industry experience and knowledge related to the NVQs being assessed.
- Be computer literate, well-organised and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Adapt to changes in the education and training landscape.
- Proficient in the use of IT systems and software for assessment and record-keeping.
- Work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive working environment
