LD CAMHS Nurse Practitioner – Learning Disabilities
Job summary
A healthcare organization is seeking a Learning Disability Nurse to join their Child and Adolescent Mental Health team in Inverness. This role involves providing assessments and interventions for children with varying degrees of learning disabilities and mental health challenges. The position offers a fixed term/secondment contract for 22.2 hours per week, allowing for flexible working hours. Candidates must be registered nurses with experience in clinical decision-making and working in multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications
- Must have experience providing assessments and interventions for children with learning disabilities.
- Autonomous clinical decision-making skills are required.
- Experience working in a multidisciplinary team is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide assessments and interventions to children with learning disabilities.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team including LD nursing and clinical psychology.
- Make clinical nursing decisions following professional conduct.
