Job summary

We are looking for a therapist with excellent communication skills who would like to further progress their knowledge with a voice and dysphagia caseload.
- Lead the voice service within the Speech and Language Therapy Service
- Provide therapy to adult patients with voice and dysphagia issues across community settings including inpatient units, stroke services, clinics, domiciliary visits, and videofluoroscopy clinic
- Support the wider service dysphagia caseload and collaborate with local hospital trust
- Provide supervision and support to junior staff and students in the specialist area
- Participate in staff development, CPD, and external specialist clinical supervision
- Use information technology to enable flexible and mobile working
- Experience as a speech and language therapist with adult voice and dysphagia caseload
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to lead and mentor within the team
- Ability to work across diverse community settings
- Qualified to work in the UK healthcare system (registration, etc.)
