We’re currently seeking responsible and empathetic Supervised Contact Workers to facilitate and monitor contact between children and their family members. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.
- Supervise and facilitate contact sessions between children and family members
- Ensure a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment
- Accurately observe and record interactions during contact sessions
- Write clear, factual, and objective contact reports in line with service expectations
- Manage challenging situations calmly and professionally
- Work in line with safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
- Experience working with children, families, or in safeguarding-related roles
- Strong communication and observational skills
- Ability to remain neutral, objective, and professional in sensitive family situations
- Good report writing and documentation skills
- Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Childcare, or equivalent preferred
- Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain – we cover the cost)
- Completion of mandatory training during the probation period (training provided)
