Role Overview

We’re currently seeking responsible and empathetic Supervised Contact Workers to facilitate and monitor contact between children and their family members. This is a highly rewarding role where you can make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable children and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and facilitate contact sessions between children and family members
  • Ensure a safe, neutral, and child-focused environment
  • Accurately observe and record interactions during contact sessions
  • Write clear, factual, and objective contact reports in line with service expectations
  • Manage challenging situations calmly and professionally
  • Work in line with safeguarding and child protection procedures at all times
Requirements
  • Experience working with children, families, or in safeguarding-related roles
  • Strong communication and observational skills
  • Ability to remain neutral, objective, and professional in sensitive family situations
  • Good report writing and documentation skills
  • Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Childcare, or equivalent preferred
  • Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain – we cover the cost)
  • Completion of mandatory training during the probation period (training provided)
