We have an exciting opportunity to work with prison learners in construction trades, including plastering, bricklaying, painting and decorating and joinery. The role is flexible and based on the demand for cover work and will be based in prisons across the Lancashire region. The role is open to anyone with construction experience. If you have teaching experience or qualifications, that would be perfect, but if not we can provide teacher training opportunities to the right candidate.
We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Wymott, working as a Cover Construction Teacher on an ADHOC basis.

Site Information
HMP Wymott is a Category C Mens prison based near Leyland, Lancashire. The teams aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe, and where causes of prison stress are minimised. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.
