Chertsey – Social Media and Marketing Specialist
Job summary
A leading technology firm is seeking a Social Media and Marketing Coordinator to manage social media activities and coordinate marketing efforts across Europe. This role involves content creation, newsletter production, and collaboration with various teams to ensure brand consistency. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills and experience in social media planning, along with proficiency in tools like Canva, Mailchimp, and Microsoft Office. A clean driving license is a plus.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role required.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- Experience of social media planning and scheduling, able to report on performance.
- Experience of email marketing and comfortable with graphic design platforms.
- Intermediate & Advanced ‘Microsoft Office’ skills are a must.
- Experience of managing pan-European / multi-lingual projects is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Plan, create, and publish content for social media.
- Take ownership of social media activities to support product launches.
- Produce the monthly newsletter for Hanwha Vision Europe.
- Coordination of marketing assets through collaboration with design agencies.
- Guide European teams with marketing expertise.

Job Purpose: To plan & manage all social media activity on brand using a variety of platforms to implement social media posts. To effectively coordinate pan-European marketing activity including the production of marketing assets, sales collateral as well as the production of Hanwha Vision Europe’s Newsletter.
Job Context: Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager
Direct Reports: None
- To plan, create, and publish content for social media using our Sked Scheduling Platform.
- To take ownership of all social media activity in support of the launch of products and solutions as well as brand posts, creating marketing assets and visuals to be used on social from hero content with the help of Canva.
- To share posts available through Haiilo for employee advocacy
- To coordinate the adaptation and translation of assets through our design agency and in collaboration with our country teams,
- Ensure brand guidelines are adhered to in the pursuit of all marketing activities
- To produce Hanwha Vision Europe’s monthly newsletter using our Force 24 platform, and work with the country teams for translation and adaptation.
- Atomise existing hero content to create derivative works, extending its reach and shelf life
- Support and provide guidance to European teams with marketing expertise in collateral production, digital assets, web content, design and print & event materials
- Collaborate with European teams, PR, creative design and translation agencies, to meet business requirements
- Support where required for local European teams
- Experience in a similar role required
- Excellent level of spoken and written English (essential)
- Experience of social media planning and scheduling, able to report on performance (Essential)
- Experience of email marketing (Essential)Comfortable with online graphic design platforms (Essential)
- PC Literate – Intermediate & Advanced ‘Microsoft Office’ skills, Social Media Scheduling Platforms (Sprout/SKED, Haiilo) (Essential), email platforms (Mailchimp/Force24) (Essential)
- Experience of managing pan-European / multi-lingual projects (desirable)
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
- Team player, self-motivated and able to work well on own and as part of a team
- Good time management and priority handling with previous experience of working in a customer facing environment
- Ability to manage and plan workload effectively.
- Clean Driving License
The jobholder is required to be located at Hanwha Vision Europe Ltd, Heriot House, Heriot Road, Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 9DT – Our normal office hours are 09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, but the jobholder may be required to work outside of these hours as and when required to meet business needs, and the role may include travel throughout the region and outside of the UK from time to time.
