  • Is passionate about Geospatial, Data and Visualisation applications in spatial design, planning and environmental consultancy.
  • Has strong business development skills, with a proven track record of successfully winning work.
  • Has an in‑depth understanding of landscape / townscape and visual impact assessment and the specialist requirements for associated visualisation and modelling.
  • Ideally has worked with other environmental specialisms such as Ecology and Nature Based Solutions teams.
  • Experience of working with resource teams in the UK and overseas.

You will coordinate the delivery of project‑related tasks to meet budget, time‑frame and quality targets, meeting or exceeding client expectations. You will promote Arcadis in all interfaces with clients and your network and lead relevant pursuits to drive the continued growth of the business.

Role accountabilities
  • Lead the delivery of GDV projects and the team ensuring client satisfaction, effective project management and good communication and collaboration between Arcadis colleagues.

  • Provide specialised GIS technical input to major/complex studies.
  • Stay current with geospatial and AI industry trends and technologies.
  • Prepare, check and approve technical reports, drawings, data platforms.
  • Undertake presentations on GIS, Data and Visualisation.
  • Manage GDV project budgets.
  • Work with the GDV team to deliver GIS and Visualisation deliverables to tight deadlines.
  • Undertake quality control of GIS and Visualisation work undertaken by other GDV staff.
  • Contribute to the technical development of the GDV team through sharing ideas and innovations.
  • Travel to other offices for business development and project meetings.
  • Encourage SHEQ feedback and take a lead in solving SHEQ issues.
