Hybrid working available – flexible remote & on‑site collaboration

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our dynamic and supportive team. You will enjoy a high level of autonomy, handle complex cases from start to finish, and drive commercial and proactive case management.

Main Responsibilities
  • Providing support, guidance and assistance to the team to deliver outstanding service to customers.
  • Proactive and commercial case management and progression.
  • Supporting the Team Leader in ensuring the delivery of the team’s financial performance KPIs.
  • Effective and thorough time recording.
Responsible For
  • Discussing and agreeing case tactics and planning with the Team Leader and members of the team.
  • Identifying cases ready for LOC, settlement and service within the team.
  • Working with the team to ensure that relevant information is collected and collated to enable the progression of the case.
  • Managing a caseload in a proactive commercial manner.
  • Co‑ordinating the progression of cases with all internal and external parties.
  • Drafting legal documentation, including LOC, letters of instruction.
  • Negotiating settlement and issuing and servicing proceedings if required.
  • Overseeing the documentation and correspondence produced by the team.
  • Advising the team on any technical issues arising from clinical negligence practice.
Essential Skills And Experience
  • Recent experience of handling a case load.
  • 8+ years PQE or equivalent experience in Clinical Negligence.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Excellent communication and drafting skills.
  • Proficient IT skills – Microsoft Office, Proclaim and Excel.
