A leading online fashion retailer is seeking a Finance Director to act as a strategic partner with the executive team. The role focuses on driving financial strategy, overseeing budgeting and forecasting, and commercial decision-making to support significant growth. The ideal candidate has proven experience in a senior finance role in a fast-paced environment, strong commercial instincts, and M&A exposure. Attractive benefits include a bi-annual bonus scheme, flexible working hours, and 25 days of annual leave.
Club L London is a leading online fashion retailer redefining attainable luxury for the modern woman. Known for delivering trend‑led occasionwear with a premium aesthetic, Club L has seen explosive growth and ambitious expansion – both organically and through acquisition. With FY25 revenues forecasted at £67m and an ambitious 45% YoY growth plan to reach £115m by FY26, the business is scaling rapidly and is preparing for private equity investment within the next 36 months.
Having recently acquired Lavish Alice in February 2025, and with a strong appetite for further M&A, Club L is at a pivotal stage of its growth journey. As such, we’re hiring a Finance Director with a strong commercial orientation to partner with the executive team, spearhead strategic financial decision‑making, and support the company’s journey to becoming a £350m revenue business.
The Finance Director will act as a strategic partner to the CFO and wider leadership team, shaping and delivering Club L’s ambitious growth strategy. This is a high‑impact, hands‑on role focused on value creation, commercial decision support, financial planning, and investment readiness. You will also lead the finance function, ensuring operational excellence and best‑in‑class reporting to support performance and scale.
