A healthcare provider organization is seeking two Independent Non-Executive Directors to enhance strategic oversight and governance. As a GP-led healthcare provider working closely with trusted system partners, strong governance and independent scrutiny are essential. These appointments will play a key role in supporting regulatory compliance, system credibility and effective Board assurance.

The Role
We are seeking to appoint two Independent Non-Executive Directors (NEDs) to strengthen the Boards independent advice, scrutiny and assurance. The roles provide objective challenge and oversight across strategy, performance and risk, supporting robust decision-making that is aligned to our values and purpose.
We are particularly interested in appointing:
Nimbuscareis a GP-led provider organisation delivering urgent care, community servicesand neighbourhood-based models of care across York and North Yorkshire. Weexist to improve patient outcomes, reduce health inequalities and support thesustainability of primary and community care through collaboration, innovationand strong system partnerships.
Weare evolving towards a Multi-Neighbourhood Provider (MNP) model aligned to thefuture direction of the NHS, with a strong focus on care closer to home,prevention, integration and digital transformation. We work in closepartnership with general practice, NHS trusts, local authorities, voluntary andcommunity sector organisations, and system commissioners.

Responsibilities
Independent Non-Executive Directors will provide constructive challenge, strategic insight and assurance across the organisation. Each postholder will chair or contribute to one or more Board sub-committees, supporting high standards of governance, risk management and accountability.
