We’re looking for an experienced and driven Audit & Accounts Supervisor to join our Chester office. - Oversee and manage audit assignments from planning through to completion, ensuring high standards and adherence to deadlines.
- Lead the preparation and finalisation of statutory accounts, along with related tax, VAT, and PAYE submissions.
- Support and develop junior team members, reviewing work and providing guidance to maintain quality outputs.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive solutions and timely responses.
- Coordinate workloads effectively, prioritising tasks and preparing deliverables for senior management review.
- Ensure accurate time recording and contribute to successful fee recovery across engagements.
- ACA/ACCA qualified with strong post-qualification experience in practice.
- Extensive experience in both audit and accounts within an accountancy firm is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a confident, client-focused approach.
- Organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple assignments simultaneously.
- A team leader who enjoys mentoring and working collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software (e.g., Xero) is advantageous.
- A passion for supporting SME clients with practical, high-quality advice.
