Responsibilities
- Support and coach the team to ensure they reach their potential in both the shop and kitchen
- Support the training pathways to ensure training happens on time

- Ensure the Coffee Calling System is followed efficiently
- Ensure all Marketplace orders are prepared promptly and accurately
Delicious Food and Drink
- Ensure the team consistently delivers delicious food by following the 6 Key Points of Production
- Follow the 11-Step Production Process to guarantee customer safety and accurate labeling
- Follow Production Principles putting customers’ needs first and never compromising on quality or freshness
- Ensure How to Cards are used and followed to deliver Pret standards
- Carry out Line Checks successfully and address any improvements needed
- Ensure no Made to Sell (MTS) rejects are on display in Langars
- Develop the team’s knowledge about the quality of our food and coffee
- Ensure Barista Prepared Drinks are made by trained employees consistently, and to the highest standard
Well-Loved Shop
- Maintain Food Safety and Health & Safety Standards for team and customers
- Monitor and record safety checks
- Take corrective action on issues affecting customers, the team or sales
- Keep the shop clean, safe and equipment well maintained
- Follow MBWA principles and Pret Standards, seeing the shop through the customers’ eyes
- Demonstrate due diligence and escalate any quality issues
Shop Profitability
- Maximize sales, labour efficiency and profit via the Big 4 (Forecasting, Rota, Ordering & Production)
- Carry out ordering accurately and in line with business needs
- Lead, monitor and follow up on Mystery Shopper requirements
- Maintain stock control by following the 7 Steps of Unaccounted
- Adhere to Pret’s Financial Standards to minimize risks and ensure team safety
- Follow merchandising guidelines and use marketing effectively to drive sales
Growth and Collaboration
- Follow merchandising guidelines and use marketing to drive sales
- Support successful food launches
- Encourage clear and engaging communication between the kitchen and FOH to meet business needs
