A local educational institution in Cardiff is seeking a term-time only Safeguarding Officer to implement Child Protection and Safeguarding procedures, support strategies, and manage safeguarding documentation. The successful candidate must hold an appropriate qualification at level 2 or above and have operational safeguarding training. This role is crucial for ensuring the well-being of learners and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. A commitment to diversity and applications in Welsh is encouraged.
£25,833 - £28,038 pro rata (based on an FTE salary of £29,874 - £32,423 per annum)
An exciting opportunity has arisen within Cardiff and Vale College for a term-time only Safeguarding Officer in the Safeguarding and Wellbeing department.
The successful applicant must hold an appropriate qualification at level 2 or above and have received designated Operational Safeguarding Training. A well‑developed awareness and understanding of post‑16 issues, supported by experience, is also essential for this role.
