Arlington, NJ.**## **Schedule:**Monday through Friday, with alternating Saturdays as needed## **Hours: 12P-9P**## **Rate:** $34-$36/ hr depending on experience## **Employment Type:**Full-time## ## **\*\*Must Have\*\***## **3+ years of experience**## **CDL A or B (or willingness to obtain through our CDL school)**## **Computer Diagnostic Experience**## ## We're looking for individuals who prioritize safety, take pride in their work, and understand how critical their role is to supporting our drivers and the service we provide to the community.## ## **Key Responsibilities*** ## Perform inspections, repairs, and diagnostics on diesel vehicles, including electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems* ## Interpret vehicle computer system failure codes and make necessary adjustments to engine and vehicle control modules* ## Review and complete repairs noted on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports* ## Accurately document services using fleet maintenance software* ## Conduct post-service test drives to ensure safety and performance* ## Collaborate with teammates on complex repairs* ## Maintain professional, courteous communication with drivers and team members* ## Keep workspaces clean and compliant with OSHA standards* ## Perform other job-related duties as assigned## ## **What We're Looking For*** ## Minimum 3 years of mechanic experience, preferably with diesel trucks* ## Strong skills in electrical and hydraulic systems* ## Well-rounded experience in mechanical and welding repairs* ## Familiarity with diesel vehicle diagnostics and preventative maintenance* ## Basic tool set required* ## Valid CDL Class B or A license required* ## Ability to work independently within a shop environment* ## Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork## ## **What We Offer*** ## Competitive compensation* ## 401(k) with company match* ## Medical, dental, and vision coverage* ## Life insurance and short-term/long-term disability* ## Employee Assistance Mental Health Program* ## Emergency Travel Assistance & Prepaid Legal Plan* ## Employee Stock Purchase Plan & Employee Relief Fund* ## Scholarship opportunities for employees’ children* #### **#**ACMaintenance## Waste Connections is an equal opportunity employer.
