A leading care organization in Llanelli is seeking compassionate individuals for the role of Care Assistant. You will support people with learning disabilities and mental health needs, providing personal care and practical assistance. Experience is not necessary, and full training will be provided. 22hr, 33hr & 44hr contracts available, day shifts 11hrs. The shift times at the following service start at08.30am and end at 08.30pm you will need to ensure that the transport you are using operates for these shift times.
£12.60 - £12.90 per hour
Chestnut House, SA7 9LA. Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm

You will have six months from starting the position to register for your SCW pin

You’ll care for people with lots of different complex needs, such as learning disabilities, autism, ABI, and mental health. Experience in working with Learning disabilities is essential for this role.
We take time to get to know people irrespective of ability or disability, we aim to empower individuals to be as involved as they can be in control of their life.
There is of course practical support too and helping people to reach their goals in smaller ways. You’ll provide personal care, maintain health needs, hygiene as well as keep things tidy and safe.
