As a User Researcher Lead (Manager) at Kainos, you are responsible for delivering and assuring actionable insights that help define the right service experiences and focus them on user needs. You are an expert practitioner able to both oversee and lead teams as well as delivering high quality research yourself. You shape and lead user-centred design teams to ensure delivery of our contracted deliverables while adhering to relevant standards e.g. GDS & NHS Service Standards. You are an advocate for needs-based design, design thinking and service design, and are passionate about coaching others in design research. You manage, coach and develop a small number of staff, with a focus on managing performance and assisting in their career development. You’ll be part of our growing Experience Design capability creating exemplary digital services. We are supportive, collaborative, talented, and hugely passionate about user-centred design.
