Job summary
A regional utilities provider in Wadebridge is seeking a Storesperson to manage yard activities and stock supplies. This role includes monitoring the depot, issuing stock to operations, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, a UK driving licence, and preferably a telehandler licence. - Telehandler licence would be preferable.
- Computer knowledge including Excel, Word, and email.
- Understanding of materials needed to maintain operations.
- Experience with Sage stock management.
- UK driving licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Establish and monitor the depot and stores location.
- Issue stock to Operations teams.
- Accurately capture and record stock issued.
- Check stock levels regularly.
- Responsible for storing, cataloguing, and distributing supplies.
- Ensure compliance with delivery specifications.
- Check quantities of unpacked supplies against delivery notes.
- Ensure Health, Safety & compliance within the yard.
