This position reports to the Logistics and Freight Manager or their designee; is located in Banbury, UK. When Trackside this position reports to the Trackside Operations Manager with the primary responsibility is to build, set up, and dismantle of the trackside infrastructure, as well as overseeing the safe and compliant loading and unloading of sea, air, and road freight. When at the factory the primary responsibility is the unloading and loading, maintenance and service of the team’s sea freight kits ensuring they are complete, compliant, in good working order and satisfying the teams expectations. This, along with the safe and compliant loading and unloading of the Air and Road Freight. The role is key to the smooth running of the team’s operations at all venues.
GCSE, High School diploma or equivalent required. Ideally with experience with insulation and mechanical projects with repairs to equipment. Work Experience in a professional motorsport environment or other high-pressured industry is preferred but not essential.
An ability to work and prioritize within a high pressure, time sensitive environment while retaining a methodical approach is essential. The role will require extensive domestic and international travel and a willingness to work long and flexible hours including weekends.
This position may require lifting to 50 pounds, repeated bending, squatting and manual dexterity. Fast‑paced work environment requiring heavy mental demands. Work environment includes machinery, race cars, 7‑post and other rigs, grinding debris, and hazardous fluids. All employees must ensure compliance with the Company Health and Safety Policy, and all relevant other statutory Health and Safety legislation.
