ABOUT THE ROLE

M-Sport UK is a world-leading motorsport team with a rich heritage in international rallying. From our base in the heart of Cumbria, we design, build and run top-level rally cars that compete and win on stages across the globe. Our success is built on the passion and expertise of our people.

As we expand, we are looking for skilled and experienced Rally Technicians to join our championship-winning team across our various programmes. These include W2RC, WRC, and Customer programmes. This is a hands‑on, dynamic role requiring mechanical expertise, endurance, and a proactive approach, both in the Workshop and on remote event locations.

The role and responsibilities include:

  • Build, preparation, and maintenance of competition cars, as well as future developments to the high standards of reliability and performance.
  • Work both at the M-Sport HQ and on international events, providing mechanical support.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues under time pressure during events.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, drivers, and support crew throughout the event.
  • Working closely with engineers and senior technicians with development work.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a self‑motivated team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. The ideal candidate will be:

  • Educated to technician level and have a thorough understanding of motor vehicles and their systems.
  • Highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi‑disciplinary team.
  • Willingness to travel globally and work across events and test programmes.
  • Hungry to share our determination to deliver a winning performance for the very best results.
Preferred Experience:
  • Previous experience in a motorsport environment, preferably with rally, rallycross, or racing.
