Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role based in Grimsby for a Diesel Mechanic/Technician. Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and industrial equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring equipment is in safe and efficient working condition. The candidate will also conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues with heavy equipment and engines, and utilize technical knowledge to ensure timely and reliable repairs.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Diesel Mechanics and experience working with heavy equipment
  • Knowledge and experience in performing Preventive Maintenance operations
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
  • Experience in working with leading engine brands such as Deutz, Perkins, CAT, Kubota, Cummins, Scania, Volvo, JCB, Yanmar and Lister Petter is an advantage
  • Certification or technical training in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred
