A leading food manufacturer in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated technical relationship manager to oversee key retail accounts. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing customer queries, ensuring compliance with food safety, and partnering with various teams to support product development. The ideal candidate will have strong FMCG experience, technical skills, and a collaborative mindset. Manage the end-to-end technical relationship for key retail and branded customers, ensuring Whitworths is seen as the supplier of choice. Lead customer technical agendas, delivering Technical JBP plans and ensuring all requirements, codes of practice and standards are consistently met.
Act as the first point of contact for technical queries, issues and complaints, resolving them quickly and professionally. Maintain full compliance across food safety, legality, quality systems, IFS controls and customer platforms. Oversee supplier approval, raw material and finished goods specifications, and 3rd-party packer management.
Partner cross-functionally with Commercial, NPD, Supply Chain and Responsible Sourcing to support safe, compliant product development.
Drive continuous improvement through strong KPI management, data analysis and proactive problem solving. Host customer visits and audits, representing Whitworths with confidence and credibility.
