Role Overview:

This hybrid role combines technical design expertise with project management responsibilities. You will lead projects from initial concept through to completion, ensuring creative visions are realised within budget and on schedule. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in the events industry, with experience as a Project Manager or Account Manager, and the ability to handle their own costing and resource planning.

Job Requirements

What We're Looking For:

- Proven experience in the events industry as a Project Manager, Account Manager, or Technical Designer.

- Strong technical design skills, including proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp or similar) and 3D modelling tools.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creativity with practical execution.

- Experience in preparing detailed costings, budgets, and resource plans independently.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and collaborate with internal teams.

- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

- A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

- Knowledge on design, build and installations of temporary and demountable structures

- Technical Design: Create detailed CAD drawings, 3D models, and technical plans for bespoke event installations, props, and set designs.

- Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle, from client briefing to final delivery, ensuring all milestones are met.

- Costing: Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and resource plans for each project, ensuring profitability and alignment with client budgets.

- Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact for clients, understanding their vision, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.

- Team Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, including design, production, and logistics, to ensure smooth project execution.

- Problem-Solving: Identify and address potential challenges, ensuring projects remain on track.
