Job summary
A leading manufacturing firm in Denton is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader for a days-only role. You will supervise maintenance activities, suggest process improvements, and ensure quality standards. Ideal candidates have leadership experience in heavy manufacturing and strong problem-solving skills. This role offers a competitive salary of £47,000 – £49,000 per annum with flexible hours.
Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing environment, ideally heavy manufacturing or FMCG.
- Minimum one year leadership experience in a Team Leader / Supervisor role.
- Good exposure to health & safety standards.

Neurocore LLC is seeking a Maintenance Team Leader for a days-only role with a competitive salary and benefits.
Role: Maintenance Team Leader (days only)
Salary: £47,000 – £49,000 per annum plus benefits
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00, 5 days per week (flexible at interview; weekend shifts may be required)
Location: Commutable from Stockport, Manchester, Oldham, Rochdale, Wilmslow, Stretford, and surrounding areas
Neurocore is a heavy plant manufacturing company offering challenging careers for engineers. We are looking for a Team Leader, preferably with apprentice training, or a minimum level 3 qualification in an engineering discipline.
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across the site and off‑site quarry.
- Identify and suggest improvements to manufacturing and quality processes.
- Carry out all planned preventative maintenance as requested.
- Assist with installation of new plant equipment.
- Promote Lean thinking and actively seek ways to improve efficiencies.
- Carry out factory inspections, advising and supporting production operatives and other personnel.
- Monitor quality from raw material to finished goods.
- Ensure efficient induction and training of new starters.
- Provide emergency maintenance cover when required.
- Experience in manufacturing environment, ideally heavy manufacturing (clay, refractory, quarrying, cement) or FMCG.
- Minimum one year leadership experience in a Team Leader / Supervisor role or similar.
- Strong leadership, communication and motivational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a positive attitude.
- Good exposure to health & safety standards and EHS.
- Strong organisational and planning abilities.
- Passionate about improvement with knowledge of Lean manufacturing.
- Analytical, fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.
- Experience and diagnostic skills in hydraulic, pneumatic, drive chain fault finding, bearing fitting/alignment and electrical control systems.
- Knowledge of cutting & grinding regulations.
- Maintenance experience and diagnostics of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical control systems.
