Job summary

A leading energy infrastructure company is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor based in King's Lynn to oversee site activities for a long-term project. The role involves ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations while managing site operations for substation works. Candidates must hold a National Grid Competent Person qualification and have experience in infrastructure projects. Competitive pay at £400 per day outside IR35.

Qualifications

  • Experience in supervising site operations for infrastructure projects is essential.
  • Knowledge of civils and M&E is preferred.

Are you an experienced Site Supervisor with a background in substation projects and a good understanding of civils or M&E (or both)? This is a great opportunity to play a key role in a long-term infrastructure upgrade, overseeing all site activity and ensuring work is delivered safely, to programme, and to a high standard.

Must have:

  • National Grid Competent Person (CP) qualification (mandatory)

Your job will be to:

  • Supervise all site operations, monitor subcontractor performance, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and CDM regulations
  • Support delivery across civils, M&E, commissioning, and fencing works, ensuring works meet programme and quality expectations
  • Complete site reports, issue permits (e.g. Permits to Dig, Hot Works), and provide short-term cover when needed
