Job summary
A leading automotive parts distributor in the UK is seeking a Van Controller to manage a driver team and coordinate delivery operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team management and customer service, with strong communication skills. Responsibilities include ensuring timely deliveries, overseeing fleet maintenance, and maintaining high customer service standards. Responsibilities
- Manage the driver team effectively.
- Coordinate delivery runs to ensure cost efficiency.
- Ensure timely delivery by the vans.
- Control and coordinate fleet maintenance.
- Ensure customer service standards are met.
Skills
As a Van Controller within GSF Car Parts, you will play an important part in ensuring that we continue to commit to our sales promise by coordinating delivery runs and ensuring delivery drivers continuously provide excellent customer service.
- Managing the driver team
- Co-ordinate delivery runs and orders in the most cost effective way
- Ensure vans deliver on time
- Control and Coordinate branch fleet maintenance and servicing
- Ensure the delivery team can deliver the branches customer service standards
45 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working
As the Van Controller you will have a great track record of managing a driver team and coordinating delivery runs.
