Build and manage our supplier network from the ground up. You'll recruit MHRA-compliant medical equipment suppliers, ensure quality standards, and create the supplier ecosystem that powers our marketplace.
- Identify, recruit, and onboard MHRA-compliant medical equipment suppliers across all categories
- Conduct rigorous verification of suppliers (MHRA registration, insurance, compliance documentation)
- Negotiate commission structures and partnership terms
- Establish supplier performance standards and monitoring systems
- Manage supplier relationships, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement
- Work with operations team to optimize quote response times and order fulfillment
- Analyze supplier performance data and provide coaching to underperforming partners
- Develop supplier training materials and onboarding processes
- Build strategic partnerships with key suppliers for preferential terms
- Represent supplier needs and feedback to internal product/operations teams
- 4+ years experience in supplier management, procurement, or vendor relations
- Understanding of medical equipment supply chain and MHRA regulations
- Strong negotiation skills with track record of favorable partnership agreements
- Relationship-building abilities with diverse stakeholders
- Data-driven approach to supplier performance management
- Experience with marketplace, e-commerce, or multi-vendor platforms
- Excellent organizational skills managing numerous supplier relationships
- Problem-solving mindset to address supplier issues and optimize network
- Medical equipment distribution, healthcare supply chain, or pharmaceutical wholesale
- NHS Supply Chain or private healthcare procurement experience
- Marketplace supplier operations (Amazon, eBay, B2B platforms)
- Knowledge of MHRA/UKCA compliance requirements
- Experience with supplier quality assurance and audit processes
- SaaS or platform vendor management experience
