Some work-from-home flexibility is available for this position.
In this role the Senior Structural Engineer will:
- Design and analyze structural engineering projects.
- Prepare detailed structural calculations and reports.
- Oversee junior engineers and mentor project team members.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors.
- Ensure high-quality design and compliance with relevant standards.
- Proficiency in Structural Engineering with solid understanding of core principles and relevant standards.
- Strong skills in Structural Analysis and detailed engineering calculations for various projects.
- Expertise in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools.
- Leadership experience managing project teams and mentoring junior engineers.
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Chartered status or working towards chartership is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
- Familiarity with historical restoration projects would be beneficial.
