A leading construction technology company in Manchester is seeking ambitious Graduate Civil Engineers to join their 15-month graduate programme. Ideal candidates will have a minimum 2:1 in a Civil Engineering degree and great teamwork skills. Completion Requirements

Full attendance and successful completion of all elements of the programme and associated portfolios. Where applicable, you will be signing up to the programme and a professional body such as the ICE, CICES or RICS; completion of the programme requires:

  • Sign up as a Graduate member of your professional body
  • A minimum of 3 quarterly reports completed and signed
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD) records to be signed off by your professional reviewer such as a Delegated Engineer, Counsellor or similar
  • Approval for completion by your professional reviewer

As a Graduate Civil Engineer you will be responsible for a key element of work on a project taking a significant role in technical delivery as well as managing aspects of time, cost and quality and will acquire technical, leadership and project management skills and experience.

Role Requirements
  • Assisting with the management of site operations, to ensure safety, quality, cost-effectiveness, timely production and customer satisfaction
  • Planning and sequencing of operations, including writing method statements and risk assessments, and procuring sub-contractor, labour, plant and material resources
  • Briefing teams; implementing operational quality control including setting out and QA processes
  • Prepare technical drawings, calculations, and construction documentation under supervision.
  • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, local regulations, and safety requirements.
