A leading project management firm in Manchester is seeking a Project Technician to support the Project Management team in wastewater asset surveying. This office-based role involves data management, report preparation, and interdepartmental communication. RPS is currently seeking an efficient Project Technician to join our operations support team, looking after projects related to wastewater networks based in Irlam. This role is office-based and will be assisting the Project Management team to deliver projects focussed on wastewater asset surveying. The starting salary for this role is negotiable DOE plus extensive benefits.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and processing data collected during site-based drainage investigations and surveys, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
Must have experience in project administration, ideally within the drainage/environmental industry
Excellent IT skills and proficient user of MS Office suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly efficient, organised with excellent problem-solving skills
A flexible approach and reliable
Able to work quickly and accurately
Approachable with great interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels in a professional manner
Able to use initiative and work unsupervised
Experience with ArcGIS or CAD would be advantageous
