Responsibilities
- Conduct daily checks across farm and packhouse areas for food safety.
- Review production, quality and hygiene records.
- Monitor staff compliance with food safety practices.
Skills
- Daily checks across farm and packhouse areas to monitor food safety, hygiene and compliance.
- Collect and review production, quality and hygiene records.
- Check staff compliance with food safety practices, hygiene rules, PPE and site (s) procedures.
- Assist with taking product and environmental samples and manage the sampling schedule.
- Assist with audits, inspections and customer complaints.
- Support traceability exercises and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote continuous improvement in technical and quality processes.
- Some experience in a technical or quality role within fresh produce or food manufacturing.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with a dynamic team and with a farm-packhouse environment.
- Knowledge and experience in the following areas is essential: Fresh Produce, Food Manufacturing, HACCP, GMP, BRCGS, Food Safety, QA Technician, Compliance, Audits, Red Tractor
- Monday to Friday: 7am to 4pm
- Office based
